The Centre will host a presentation by leading International Health Economist Cam Donaldson, at The Cairns Institute, James Cook University, on 6 August 2015 at 4pm.
For several years Cam Donaldson has been working in the space of social entrepreneurship and microcredit, as a route to economic development and then tracking it's knock on effects to help close health and social inequalities. Cam holds the Muhammad Yunus Chair (the Nobel Laureate) at Glasgow Caledonian University.
The talk may be of interest from a regional development perspective, providing another example of the need to think in terms of intersectoral cooperation.
